3d design pre-view
Virtual prototyping of garments provides high potential for design, product development and marketing processes. Fit of a garment on the body model is an important factor to design comfortable, functional and well fitted garments. Today, most C AD systems for garments' pattern design have 3D virtual garments simulation software for garment prototyping and fit evaluation. The garment is composed of 2D patterns and evaluation of the garment's fit is performed on the 3D human body model, where parametric mannequin or scanned human body represent a virtual body model. Based on the results of this study and many recent researches works it can be assured that virtual prototyping is a promising technique that has a potential to replace conventional garments' prototyping. However, it can be successful only when all specific characteristics of the textile materials and accurate virtual body models to simulate the garment fit are fully considered.

Using the above 3d modelling software we can customise the look and fabric choice chosen to show a realistic 3d view before we start to design the suit on fabric. The choice of lapel, single or double breasted jacket, single button or 6 button jacket, Lapel button hole, sleeve buttons, thread colour and much more.
